Overview

YouCount is a YouTube subscriber counter app for iOS. We built it with privacy in mind: the app does not collect, store, or share your personal data.

Data We Do Not Collect

YouCount does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us
• Any personally identifiable information

How the App Works

YouCount searches for YouTube channels using YouTube's public web API (InnerTube). This is the same API your browser uses when you visit YouTube.com. Searches are made directly from your device to YouTube's servers. We do not proxy, log, or store your search queries.

Channel data (name, subscriber count, avatar) is saved locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and a shared App Group container so the widget can display it on your home screen. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or any third party.

Purchases

YouCount offers optional in-app purchases (monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and lifetime access) through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase status is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework on your device.
